Automatic sliding door
WICSTYLE 65ED, the energy-saving automatic sliding door for commercial buildings, was developed in collaboration with the Swiss global market leader Kaba-Gilgen AG, on the basis of the WICLINE 65 profile. Automatic sliding doors have short open and close cycles that have been optimised for throughput. Therefore, when in operation they retain the largest amount of warmth within the building. A major role in energy efficiency, however, is also played by the time in which the door remains permanently shut – such as overnight. During such periods, in particular, WICSTYLE 65ED protects the building reliably against excessive energy loss, thereby making a significant contribution to improving the overall energy balance of the building.
The advantages of WICSTYLE 65ED at a glance:
- Cost saving in new builds and with retrofitting, as a result of savings in ongoing energy requirements
- Attractive appearance due to streamlined elevation widths and coordinated integration of the door drive
- Leaves up to 3,000 mm high which can be combined with side elements or overhead windows
- Option of single or double-leaf sliding versions
- Simple integration into WICTEC mullion-transom facades possible
- Safe and reliable door automation from Kaba-Gilgen
- Sensors can be integrated into the profiles
- Safe operation, in accordance with the personal safety requirements set out in DIN 18650
- Integrated multipoint locks for increased intruder resistance
